To help ensure a smooth and efficient detailing appointment, please review the checklist below before your scheduled service. Taking a few minutes to prepare your vehicle allows us to focus more time on detailing and achieving the best possible results.
Appointment Preparation Guide
Remove Personal Belongings
Please remove all personal items from your vehicle prior to your appointment.
This includes items such as:
Wallets and valuables
Sunglasses and electronics
Chargers and cables
Important documents
Work items, bags, or loose belongings
Removing personal items allows us to safely clean all areas of the vehicle without the risk of damaging or misplacing personal property.
Remove Excess Trash
Basic trash removal is included in most detailing services; however, removing larger trash items beforehand helps us dedicate more time to the actual cleaning process.
Examples include:
Food containers or wrappers
Bottles or cups
Bags or boxes
Large debris or clutter
Inform Us of Problem Areas
If your vehicle has areas that may require extra attention, please inform us before the appointment.
Examples include:
Stains or spills
Pet hair
Strong odors
Mud or heavy dirt
Sticky residue or buildup
Knowing these details ahead of time helps us prepare the appropriate tools and products for the best results.
Ensure Vehicle Access
Please make sure the vehicle is parked in a safe and accessible area with enough space around it for detailing. Ideal locations include driveways, parking lots, or other open areas where we can comfortably work around the vehicle.
If the vehicle is located in a gated community, apartment complex, or workplace, please provide any necessary access instructions beforehand.
Key Drop-Off or Key Handoff
To begin the service, we will need access to your vehicle. You may either:
Hand the keys to us directly at the beginning of the appointment, or
Leave the keys inside the vehicle in a secure location
If you choose to leave the keys inside the vehicle, please inform us of their location ahead of time.
While we take every precaution when handling your vehicle, Nine Lives Detailing is not responsible for lost or stolen keys or belongings if they are left unattended inside the vehicle.
Remove Valuables
For safety and peace of mind, please remove valuable items from the vehicle before service.
Examples include:
Cash
Jewelry
Electronics
Important paperwork
While we always handle vehicles with care, we are not responsible for valuables left inside the vehicle.
Plan for Service Time
Detailing services typically take approximately 2-4 hours, depending on the service selected and the condition of the vehicle. Vehicles with heavier dirt, stains, or buildup may require additional time to complete.
Weather Considerations
Since detailing services may take place outdoors, weather conditions can occasionally affect scheduling. In the event of severe weather such as heavy rain or storms, we may need to reschedule the appointment to ensure the best results.
